Sori in Korean represents all sounds, natural and artificial, or vocal and instrumental. So, Sori evokes a unique feeling of intimacy, warmth and artistry to the Korean people, and it is the traditional name of a genre of Korean narrative song which has prevailed in this southwestern part of Korean Peninsula for a long time. Therefore, Sori Arts Center embodies the spirit of the arts and culture of Korea which boasts a brilliant cultural heritage. This arts center is naturally committed to spearheading the development of Korean arts and culture on the basis of the time-honored spirit.
